AIM, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, Google Talk, ICQ, IRC, MySpaceIM, QQ, Simple, Sametime, XMPP, Zephyr these are all compatible with pidgin which is what i use on my ubuntu system.

Great roundup, I use meebo, the only other service i’ve heard of is msn2go - although I haven’t tried it out.

This is a good post, I especially like the part about, Its greatest advantage as a online messenger is its mobile version. It runs on mobile phones like IPhone, PDA, PSP and Nintendo DS.

I look forward to many more modifications in the near future between messaging services and mobile..
