I guess it goes that you can't judge a book by it's cover since really in the pic they do look like ugly cheap earphones but by your post they are a seriously good product. I thought it looks a little less aesthetically pleasing like you said but I can tell how it would be very comfortable. I like the fact that it filters out the outside noise so it enhances the music experience. I'll probably get one as I'm tired of outside noise with my current player...only way now is to jack the volume up and that's no good for your ears. Really good review.
