I am now a PayPerPost publisher

October 29th, 2007 Posted in Advertisement

I sign up with PayPerPost sometime ago and just got accepted last week. Not sure if it is because of my PageRank (I have none)or my low subscriber count. But now that is settled, so I can concentrated on writing paid post for this blog.

Why?

Well, advertisements are not making me any money. I am not talking about $100 per day range. I am at the moment just want to cover my hosting fees plus some small change for my time spent blogging. That’s where PayPerPost comes in. It gives me an opportunity to get paid while blogging. It’s like I am now the freelancer for the newspaper call PayPerPost Times.

I think the main difference between paid blogging and ads on the side bar is that you know what you are earning for each post. You will only know how much the ads you put earn when you get your daily report. Its good to know you will get paid when you work for it.

How?

Of course by writing on BlogMunch. I know there are lots of articles that say PayPerPost articles are biased and evil. But you really have to use your own judgment for stuffs on the internet. Anyway, I will try to be as objective as possible about my paid posting. If there is something bad to be said, I will say it. A good point about PayPerPost is their word of mouth ethics. It is now required to display a disclosure badge on your post. This will promote transparency and post integrity.

When?

I am not sure how much offers I have on the marketplace for a small blog like mine. I’ll say maybe a maximum of 3 paid posting per week for starters. I will see how much money I can earn and take it from there.

I am itching to have a blog contest on BlogMunch for a while. So I think I will use any surplus income from PayPerPost to fund a blog contest and reward readers on this blog.

Wish me Luck!
