That’s great you’re moving (and it sounds like you’ll use Wordpress? If you're serious about monetizing, you want the control you'll get with your own domain, not to mention the fact that it's a pain to change your url and get all of your traffic to follow you when you decide to (get your own domain) later on in the game. ;) I agree with Simon…it takes months, sometimes even a year to really get going and get your traffic high enough to earn substantial income from your blog.
