Custom domain - www.blogmunch.com
As you might have read a couple of post back, I have so much fun playing with bustaname, that I am tempted to buy a domain name of my own. Well, I did it. I bought a domain name of my own. I am now the proud owner of www.blogmunch.com.
Using the Custom domain feature of Blogger, I can now host my blog on Blogger while using my own domain. The shift should be very smooth and all links/bookmarks should work. Not sure how it will affect the Feedburner rss feed though, but currently my Google reader is still updating as usual.
The instructions here is clear and easy to follow. But I still encounter a blind spot.
I follow all the instructions changing CNAME and directing my blog to the domain name. I keep refreshing blogmunch.com for the past two days and it always show the domain park at Godaddy.com. Only this morning, on a hunch, I type www.blogmunch.com and out comes my blog. It would be good if Blogger can make this clearer.
I wonder what will happen to blogmunch.com? Anyone who knows how to redirect blogmunch.com traffic to www.blogmunch.com, please leave a comment and I will be grateful. Thanks
