Incredible stop-motion animation - MUTO

May 14th, 2008 | 5 Comments | Posted in BlogMunch, Links, Videos, flash

Of all the things I am amazed by creative people on the web, stop motion animation is one of them. These animations takes sooo much time to make and the results are always inspiring. Here’s one I found today. From what I can see the creators just use white paint and markers to draw each sets. All their drawings are surreal art a la Salvador DalĂ. The full website is http://www.blublu.org/sito/video/muto.htm. I embed it here so that I can watch it anytime I want.

A story of Life - Animal Crossing

December 11th, 2007 | 3 Comments | Posted in BlogMunch, Videos, anime

I have played Animal Crossing on my DS but have outgrow it in about a week. But it’s fun while it last. There are people who played the game religiously and try to collect every fossil, fish and insect found in Animal Crossing. Here is a sad, but true story of a dying mom playing Animal Crossing. (Knew about this from Donationcoder.com).

For those who want to know more:

The soundtrack for this video is “To Zanarkand” from Final Fantasy X.

After the carved pumpkins comes stuffed turkeys. Ah, how we humans like to celebrate our festive seasons while exploiting the lesser beings on Earth.

From Bmunch

Hey hey, where did that come from? I am trying to come up with a witty opening and that depressing thingy came out? Something must be wrong with me.

Well, although I don’t have the time to scout around the web to find 52 interesting stuffings for this Thanksgiving Day, let’s just be thankful for a few funny pictures and clips I find within this hour.

But first in the spirit the festive season, I would like to be thankful for:

  1. My wife and twin daughters for bringing new meaning and joy to my life.
  2. My daytime job for supporting me with an income while I am indulging myself with this blog.
  3. Problogger’s Darren whose 31 days to building a better blog brought me and is still bringing me traffic to this undernourished BlogMunch.
  4. DoshDosh’s Maki for showing me there are more ways to monitize a blog other than Adsense. I got inspired to do T-shirt affiliated marketing through reading his “So You Want to Make Money Online: An Extensive Guide to T-Shirt Affiliate Marketing“.
  5. Donaldlim’s Donald for guiding me when I wanted to shift from Blogger to Wordpress. Introduce me to Bluehost too. Hey Donald, do update your blog more frequently.
  6. All my commenters and those who have email me. I have learn from you and I hope you find BlogMunch interesting. Come back more frequently.

Without further ado, here’s some funny pics and clips.

Amazing Shadow Puppetry

The music suits the performance very well. Truly entertaining and humorous. It even inspired me to try out some of the finger play myself. Hope my fingers can take the strain. Be entertained.
