smashing magazineI really like Smashing Magazine. There just seems to be so much information, that sometimes I need two readings to finish one post. Especially for fonts, icons and web design, everything recommended is of extreme high quality. I always go there for inspirations when I draw a blank. Take a look at this article.

How to use web 2.0 to market your product - vid by seth godin

September 6th, 2007 | No Comments | Posted in web 2.0

Seth Godin talks about how to use the power of Web 2.0 technologies to promote your product (ie. your blog). The power of web 2.0 lies in the reviews your readers or fans write about. You don’t need to force people to read your blog, but if enough fans of your blog writes about your postings, traffic will be generated.

What sales people and marketers used to do is yell at strangers. What the web allows you to do is to yell at even more people.

Seth Godin

Great stuff as usual from Seth Godin.

Announcement

September 3rd, 2007 | 1 Comment | Posted in Uncategorized

Dear readers,

This will be a very slow month for BlogMunch. I will be going for my reservist for the next 2 weeks and then away travelling till mid October. I will still post as and when I have internet access. This will also give me a good time to recharge from the hectic first 2 months of blogging. Hope to come back refreshed and with new ideas. Stay tuned.

(For non-Singaporeans who do not know what is reservist. It is mandatory yearly army training for Singaporeans males to keep us “sharp” and in “tip top shape”. Well, for me it is a chance to catch up with old army mates.)

I guess not much incentive to ask you to subscribe to the BlogMunch Feed. Come back next month for more from Blogmunch.
